This reaction is an ideal synthesis platform to systematically probe ILs properties due to its excellent molecular control, ease of synthesis, benign reaction conditions, and fidelity. The stereotype of our novel 1,2,3-triazolium IL is shown in Figure 2. In Brazil, ethanol is largely produced from sugar cane juice, known as first generation ethanol 1G.
